Hi! My name is Benjamin Hammer, but most people call me Ben, and I am a 2021 graduate of the Industrial Design program at Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech, I additionally minored in Architecture, and I spent a semester on exchange at Lund University, in Sweden. Above all else in the world of design, I love building and creating things, and watching concepts I've thought up take shape into physical prototypes. In 2022, I spent the majority of the year working at Techtronic Industries, designing power tools and other products for Ryobi, which I'll hopefully be able to share more about once those designs hit the shelves!

 

When not working on design projects, I can almost always be found at the rock climbing gym, where I work two jobs as a coach and routesetter, and spend most of my free time. I've been climbing now for over 13 years, and have earned high placements at national and international competitions. I am an avid LEGO builder, and to this day I still haven't figured out how to take a photo without glasses glare.
